Leadership

Joseph Morin (he/him)

Co-Founder
President & Executive Director

During my time studying Animal Behavior at the University of New England, I was a volunteer and intern with two wolf sanctuaries. I fell in love with the animals, and for 10 years, I have continued to work with multiple wolf and wildlife sanctuaries, rehabilitation centers, and non-profit organizations throughout the United States. Three years ago, I began to protect wolves among other wildlife in their native environments throughout states such as Montana, Idaho, Arizona, and Minnesota.

Gunnar Nemeth (he/them)

Co-Founder

Vice President

I was born and raised in Delaware where I found my passion for nature through experiences like helping count the migration of raptors near Hawk Mountain, flipping stuck Horseshoe Crabs during their mating season on the beaches, and watching the Flying Squirrels eat from my family's bird feeder. I studied International Relations and Geography at York College of Pennsylvania where I began my involvement with NGOs and Non-Profit Organizations. I have been working to protect Keystone Species in Montana since 2021.

Emily Manner (she/her)

Board Treasurer

Hello! My name is Emily, and I’m an Environmental Scientist from Northwest Ohio. I primarily have a background in Environmental Lab work, but wildlife management has always had a special place in my heart. Growing up, I was always close to nature. I was constantly outside, barefoot, and often searching for bugs or wildlife. In college I had the opportunity to take classes like Urban Wildlife Management, which deepened my understanding of the impact humans have on our wildlife. I also have some field experience working with bison. I’m excited to help further the mission of the Keystone Wildlife Coalition!
